Lessons Of The Day

Today was my "day off". HA! I wish. My day consisted of me sleeping in three and a half hours later than normal. That's right, I woke up at 9:30! I felt like I had wasted so much of my day, considering I've been working 7-3 since June. Then Nick and I cleaned up the old apartment, moved stuff into the new apartment, unpacked, and became exhausted. I'd hardly call that a day off. Thank goodness it's my off weekend so I'll probably party it upppp.

Here are some valuable lessons I've learned today:

1. Never let a dog eat food from the trash. She will get sick and have diarrhea all over your brand new yellow bedspread.

2. Apartment sized washers do not wash bedspreads well. Even if you wash the same load twice, with too much detergent.

3. Moving in the rain, especially in flip flops, is no fun.

4. You know you have good friends when they come over to help you move the heavy stuff, even after they've had a long day at work. (THANK YOU GUYS!)

5. When you think your neighbors are knocking on your door to welcome you to the complex, they really just want you to know that they hate you. Hence, our new "GO AWAY!" doormat.

6. Gucci Gucci Louis Louis Fendi Fendi Prada.

7. You can make cookies in the microwave. And when you smell them burning, that's when you know you can take them out.

8. Dudes are stupid and not worth my time. At least not for the time being. I think I'll let the ones around my age mature a little before I give them another shot.

9. iPods get lost during a move multiple times. Then again, I'm not exactly known for knowing where my possessions are.

10. THREE MORE DAYS TIL A MUCH NEEDED WEEKEND!!!
